What we were dealing with
- •Sticky residue across the shifter surround and cup holders
- •Dust and lint compacted into vents, seams and switch gear
- •Screen and gloss trim covered in fine swirls from dry wiping
What we did
- 1Compressed air and detail brushes to lift dust out of seams before wiping, so nothing gets dragged across gloss trim
- 2Console and cup holders cleaned with a dilute interior cleaner and soft brush, then wiped with clean microfiber
- 3Screens and piano-black trim cleaned with dedicated flat-weave towels only
- 4Leather and vinyl conditioned with a non-greasy, UV-stable product
How it turned out
- •Every control feels clean under the fingertips, which is the part owners actually notice daily
- •No shiny dressing residue on the steering wheel or pedals
